Reading Time: 2 minutes
Reading classics is very important to develop a strong reading habit. We will surely get something from them which are time enduring or timeless Texts. When a reader can develop a regular reading habit should direct his or her interest to classic. This habit will save much of our times and energies.

You can be thousands or hundreds of years old in experience if you taught yourself with classics.
All the major religious texts, epics of all major languages, texts accepted en-messe for hundreds and thousands of years, texts who had a strong impact on its time and beyond, texts which shaped, re-shaped, modelled and re-modelled human societies for ages can be considered as classics.
When somebody develops a strong habit of reading classics can check himself free from the reading of useless books, books on petty topics and silly contents.
One should read modern day classics along with the earliest classics of human civilization.

One thing we must remember that we have our share with all the greatest achievements of human civilization in all its phases in all its geographies and nationalities and races. We shouldn’t hesitate to take bath in the ocean of age old gems those are classics.
After reading ‘ars amatoria’ (The Art of Love) by Ovid, Candide by Voltaire, The Little Prince by Saint Exupery, On the Shortness of Life by Seneca, The Art of War by Sun Tzu and  The Greatest Minds and Ideas of All Time by Will Durant my conviction on classics become stronger.
